The String of Pearls formed at The Royal Academy of Music in 1986, are a versatile and dynamic quartet with an extensive repertoire and adaptable wardrobe. They perform recitals and private concerts in music clubs and National Trust properties throughout the county and are regular guest performers aboard the QE2 on part of their world cruise. As well as giving recitals the quartet is in great demand playing for corporate events, weddings, openings, receptions and commercial work. They have often appeared on television; Top of the Pops, the Lottery, Blue Peter and This Morning. Clients range from celebrities to politicians, the Royal Family, to pop and television stars.
